Illustrative only. Assumes electricity at 30c/kWh, 3.5 kWh/day solar generation per installed kW, 90% battery efficiency, 30% direct solar self-consumption and estimated evening usage. Existing-solar customers can select their 1–3c/kWh export credit. New-solar estimates use an assumed 2c/kWh future export rate internally, without asking customers to predict it. Actual tariffs, household load profiles, generation, export limits, fixed charges and seasonal variation affect results. Purchase costs and rebates excluded. These are not guaranteed savings.
